Privacy Policy

Last updated September 27, 2026

This policy explains what Claim Brief LLC ("we," "us") collects when you use claimbrief.com, sign up for our emails, contact us, or book a paid session, and what we do with it.

The short version. We collect what we need to send you what you asked for and to run the sessions you book. We don't sell your information, we don't use advertising trackers, and the site uses only the cookies it needs to work.

1. What we collect

When you sign up. Your email address, and your name if you give it. Our site platform also records how you found the site: the site that sent you and the pages you read before signing up. It keeps that short list in your browser's storage, not in a cookie, and saves it with your signup so we can see which posts bring people in.

When you get our emails. Which links in an email were clicked. This tells us which emails are useful.

When you contact us. Whatever you send us by email, comment, or direct message, and your contact details. Comments and messages on YouTube and other platforms are also governed by those platforms' own policies.

When you book a paid session. Your name, email, the time you choose, and anything you type into the booking form. Payments are handled by our payment provider. We see your name, email, the amount, and the type and last four digits of your card. We never see or store your full card number.

During a paid session. We work with you in your own AI account. We don't keep copies of the material you work on. We keep short notes on the kind of workflow we built and what worked, to improve future sessions. We don't record sessions unless you ask; if you do, we send you the recording and delete our copy within 30 days.

Using sessions in our content. We may describe a session in general terms in a video or on a page, for example "I recently built a weekly-update workflow with an office manager," with nothing that identifies you and nothing taken from your material. Anything more, such as your name, your story, your words, your results, or a recording, is used only with your written permission and only at the level of detail you approve.

When you visit the site. Our site platform counts visits without cookies: the pages viewed, the site you came from, your browser and device type, and your country. We use these totals to see what's useful. Like any website host, it also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.

We don't collect sensitive information such as health, financial account, or government ID details, and we ask you not to share them with us, including during a session.

2. Cookies

The site uses only essential cookies. Our site platform sets two cookies to keep you signed in if you're a member. There are no advertising, social media, or third-party analytics cookies on the site. The booking and payment pages are run by our scheduling and payment providers, which set their own cookies under their own policies.

3. How we use it

  • To send you what you signed up for, such as a free resource, and emails about new videos and resources. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To book, run, and follow up on paid sessions, and to process payments and refunds.
  • To answer your messages, and, with your permission, to check a claim you sent.
  • To understand which pages and emails are useful, using totals rather than individual profiles.
  • To keep records the law requires, such as tax and payment records, and to keep the site secure.

We may use AI tools to help run Claim Brief, for example to draft a reply to your email. When we do, we use accounts set so our data isn't used to train AI models, and we never put payment details, or anything you've asked us to keep private, into them.

4. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with the service providers that run parts of Claim Brief for us, and only what each one needs:

  • Ghost, which hosts the site and runs signups, email sending, and site analytics, together with the providers it uses to deliver email and count visits.
  • Stripe, which processes payments.
  • Cal.com, which handles session booking.
  • The video call service used for your session (such as Zoom or Google Meet), and our email provider, for messages you send us.
  • AI tools we use to help run the business (currently Claude, made by Anthropic), as described in section 3.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.

5. How long we keep it

  • Your email address and signup details: until you delete your account or ask us to. Unsubscribing stops the emails; deleting removes your details.
  • Booking and payment records: as long as tax and accounting rules require.
  • Messages you send us: as long as they're useful for answering you or checking a claim.
  • Session recordings, if you asked for one: our copy is deleted within 30 days.

6. Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Email hello@claimbrief.com from the address we have on file, so we know the request is yours. We'll respond within 45 days. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

Some state laws give you additional rights. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact your state's attorney general.

7. Security

We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect your information, including two-step verification on our accounts. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee it will never be accessed without permission. If a breach affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires.

8. Children

Claim Brief is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.

9. Where your information is

Claim Brief is based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the United States.

10. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email address or other information you've given us, we'll also tell members by email before it takes effect.
